Underworld: Awakening
For some reason, the 3rd movie of any series usually sucks donkey balls including Die Hard (Bruce Willis running around New York with Samuel L.Jackson = fail), Alien (Sigourney Weaver running around like Sinead O'Connor = fail ) and Underworld (Old man Bill Nighy running around = Fail). Thankfully we're at number 4 and Kate Beckensale returns, still looking good in her black leather outfit, taking names and asking questions later...and now. Waking up and escaping from a frozen sleep 12 years later, Selene finds out the lycans are at it again, trying to biologically create super werewolves and antidotes for their bane to silver. Also the vampires always have some internal drama but they keep that short and sweet. Oh wait, does Selene have a kid aka "subject 2" - worst kept secret ever. The story is pedestrian but the 2nd half of the film picks up when they just let Selene be the "deathdealer", runnning around with her machine pistols, jump 20 feet in the air and doing vampire fu on everyone else. Its not the best movie but its still better than Twilight.

What I learned: Don't be a scientist. Its like wearing red in Star Trek.
