Thor - god of movies!
Do we really want to see Thor directed by Shakespearian director and actor, Kenneth Branagh with serious, seriously talented but very boring actress, Natalie Portman? Because I can get to sleep on my own, thanks. But even Branagh cannot stop the mighty Thor and transforms an arrogant and haughty god of thunder into a hero with humility. Initially disobeying his fathers order, Thor and his super friends, go after the frost giants, breaking a tenuous treaty. Anthony Hopkins is the frustrated one eyed dad and banishes his son onto earth without his very heavy hammer and armor. Fortunately, Thor is still ripped and good looking so that Jane Foster (Portman)gets flustered finding him and doesn't ignore him like most people do with the homeless. The best part of this movie is the humanity injected into the humor of Thor and the Natalie Portman sitting in a tree...k.i.s.s.i.n.g. The film has a nice balance of drama, action and a half naked guy walking around. Also, if you're a comic fan, you'll love the Warriors 3 and Sif, just awesome.

What I learned: Thor looks better in red cape than Superman...and could probably kick his ass
