Itchy & Scratchy

Kwan Loong Oil

Researching rashes and hives on the internet doesn't seem that much different than going to an allergist, guesses are as best either can do about my itchy reaction to something organic or inorganic in our world. But I can't blame either one since these rashes has only occurred twice in my life.

About 25 years ago, just before going to bed, my chest would start to itch and I looked down to see a gaggle of red ovalish bumps from a quarter to half an inch in size. If I scratched, it would accelerate the process of spread up to my neck and down to my inner thigh. Man, nobody could not figure out what it was. The diet, detergent, clothes was all changed but night after night, it continue to reappear. The weird thing is, after falling asleep, it would disappear in the morning. Only to reappear at night. Wash, rinse and repeat. I tried different allergy medicines from western to eastern, drinking horrible tasting soups and eating odd meals. And as mysterious as it appeared, it suddenly stopped.

Three days ago, the rash started again although they appeared on my waist. But this time I was ready because I've always kept this bottle of chinese magic in my cupboard. Actually its called kwan loong oil. The original glass bottle with the cork stop and metal cap advertised itself as "the regal medicated oil embrocation". The new bottle with the plastic cap says "pain relieving aromatic oil". Neither says anything about rashes but geeze it works! I sprinkle this tart lemony smelling liquid directly on the rash, its stops itching and I sleep like a loud baby. This episode last 2 days (with medicine). I don't know if there's anything equivalent out there but if you ever have a rash, use this.
