
Ox tail. I like the idea of being able to make ox tail because its sounds gross, exotic and freakishly good at the same time. So today was my first endeavor and although it wasn't the epic failure, I'll say it was mediocre and why shouldn't it be. On someone else's recipe, I use 2 different brands of store bought curry, vermont and kokumaro and here's the thing, it tasted like store bought curry. Regardless of how much other spices I added, I couldn't get rid of that ceramic tile counter corporate taste. Blah. Back to the lab.
